Full Time Food Services Associates prepare and serve food to park guests, operate cash registers, maintain cleanliness and safety of assigned stand, provide quality service to park guests, and assist with training of seasonal associates. Responsibilities:

Full Time Food Services Associates prepare and serve food to park guests, operate cash registers, maintain cleanliness and safety of assigned stand, provide quality service to park guests, and assist with training of seasonal associates.
- Greet, answer questions, ensure quality service, and resolve complaints for guests.
- Take proper payment and make change for food and beverage items using a cash register.
- Take and complete food and beverage orders from guests.
- Notify kitchen personnel of shortages or special orders.
- Use soda fountains to serve cold drinks and to make milkshakes and frozen desserts.
- Use hot water heater or coffee maker to make and serve hot drinks.
- Cook and prepare food items to food safety standards.
- Serve food in correct portions to ensure proper food cost procedures are followed.
- Squeegee floors, wipe off counters, sweep, empty trash and complete other general cleaning duties.
- Maintain proper stock levels for all serving, kitchen, dining and condiment areas are stocked with supplies: alert supervision to supply shortages.
- Alert supervision of any malfunctions, safety concerns, or needs.
- Ensure all safety equipment is being used properly.
- Ensure product temperature controls are met and maintained for quality and safety.
- Follow all Board of Health regulations.
- Provides guest service according to Cedar Fair standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions, and giving directions.
- Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Cedar Fair Safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.
- Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
- Meets Cedar Fair's attendance requirements as outlined in Cedar Fair's attendance policies.
- Adheres to Cedar Fair's Rules of Conduct including specific costuming and grooming standards as outlined in Associate Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and procedures.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Ability to learn and use various pieces of food equipment such as but not limited to, cotton candy machines, mixers, ovens, ice cream machines, broilers, grills, fryers, etc.
- Be able to lift, carry, push, or pull certain items up to 50 pounds frequently, and in excess of 50 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor locations. Must to be able to work in extreme weather conditions such as extremely hot and cold temperatures, rain, snow, sleet, and going into coolers and freezers with temperatures as low as ‑40F.
- Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
- Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
- Open availability to fill a rotating 40 hour schedule, to include nights, weekends and holidays.
