Seeking a talented Food Service Manager 2 to support the Millard Public Schools Food Services programs! In partnership with Sodexo Schools Division, our Food Service Manager will continually support the needs of more than 24,000 students, always striving for high levels of customer satisfaction. Our Food Service Manager supports the school meals program through compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, following USDA, Sodexo and MPS procedures and operating standards. The Food Service Manager implements quality improvements and communicates changes throughout the department and District; collaborates daily with kitchen staff to ensure program adherence and culinary support.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Support MPS Food Services to ensure student needs are met with high levels of customer satisfaction
- Contribute to strong positive client relationships while meeting contractual obligations to ensure account retention
- Promote and educate others on food and nutrition programs according to Sodexo standards and policies
- Collaborate and communicate with the management team on established processes, field observations, and apprise leadership of potential problemsor best practices
- Help to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations (DCHD, HIPAA/Privacy Act, USDA) as well as Sodexo/MPS policies and procedures for quality assurance and safety
- Follow operating standards, implement quality improvements, and communicate changes as appropriate
- Continuously improve unit financial outcomes as a result of compliance with product standards and specifications, menu management, and contract specifications
- Manage, support, and collaborate with front line team members to ensure compliance with core menus, proper use of ingredients, and recipe standards
- Promote an environment of innovation and growth by bringing new ideas, procedures, and products to the district

Key Duties
- Maintains and develops client relationships and customer satisfaction for multi-functional food service areas to ensure account retention and positive public relations
- Establishes and maintains a safe work environment
- Supervises day-to-day work activities by delegating authority, assigning and prioritizing activities and monitoring operating standards
- Utilizes Sodexo resources and programs to ensure operating standards and regulatory requirements are met and employees have the necessary equipment and inventory
- Manages by providing positive and constructive feedback to employees in order to reward, coach, correct and motivate in order drive a high-level of employee engagement
