Forest Highlands Golf Club is currently hiring for multiple positions in our Recreation Department. For all positions you must be exihibit exellence in customer service to our members, guests and their families. The positions we are hiring for are as follows:

  • Recreation Activities Staff: ($17.25 per hour)

This position is supervising children of Members while they participate in various recreation activities/programs such as kid’s camp, explorer camp, teen/tween programs, Lawn Games, and much more. The primary focus of the Recreation Activities Staff is to provide entertaining and safe games and activities for kids.


Minimum Requirements For Recreation Activities Staff:

  • Two years of High School or High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification (opportunities to obtain these are available through Forest Highlands upon being hired).
  • Background with kids, babysitting, Education etc.
  • Clean back ground check
  • Basic knowledge of babysitting, country club and golf course operations.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
  • Must be self-motivated with a positive and professional attitude.
  • Organized, able to work in a busy environment where the priorities are changing.
  • Ability to perform a wide variety of tasks during busy times while working flexible hours with an enthusiastic personality.
  • Must be reliable.
  • Babysitting Staff ($18.00 per hour)

This position provides caring/babysitting tasks that include caring for individuals of all ages while maintaining a clean and healthy environment .


Minimum Requirements for Babysitting Staff:

  • Two years of High School or High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification (opportunities to obtain these are available through Forest Highlands upon being hired).
  • Experience caring for others
  • Clean background check
  • Ability to perform all activities with minimal supervision.
  • Basic knowledge of babysitting, country club and golf course operations.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
  • Must be self-motivated with a positive and professional attitude.
  • Organized, able to work in a busy environment where the priorities are changing.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule (days,nights, weekends, holidays)
  • Must be reliable.
  • Drama Instructor ($18.00 per hour)

This position focuses on teching acting to individuals and groups and provides and directs plays for the summer season. As well, is supervising children of Members while they participate in the Summer Drama Class and performance.


Minimum Requirements for Drama Instructor:

  • Two years of High School or High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification (opportunities to obtain these are available through Forest Highlands upon being hired).
  • Background with kids, Education etc.
  • Clean back ground check
  • Basic knowledge of drama instruction, country club and golf course operations.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
  • Must be self-motivated with a positive and professional attitude.
  • Organized, able to work in a busy environment where the priorities are changing.
  • Ability to perform a wide variety of tasks during busy times while working flexible hours with an enthusiastic personality.
  • Must be reliable.
  • Office Coordinator ($19.00 per hour)

This position is ultimately responsible for administrative support to the Recreation Department in booking services and program registrations for members and handling all facets of scheduling for employees within the department.


Minimum Requirements for Office Coordinator:

  • Associates Degree and/or 2 years’ experience in administrative or customer service position
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent Typing skills
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of Outlook and Google Drive systems.
  • Ability to learn other software systems ie; When to Work and Jonas Encore.
  • Exceptional professional demeanor with skills in face-to-face and telephone interaction techniques.
  • Proven ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously and apply relevant interdepartmental information.
  • Self-motivated, great customer service skills, energetic learner with a good sense of humor.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
  • Flexibility in working schedule to include evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Proven attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn and use new software.
  • Prior knowledge of Golf Club operations a plus.
  • Prior experience working productively in a team oriented environment.
