Forklift Operator Tasks & Duties (What You'll Do)
- Load or unload trucks either by hand, forklift, or by pallet jack
- Maintain load sheets
- Verify counts
- Adjust shipping documents accordingly
- Unload incoming material and place in proper inventory area
- Inspect incoming material for damage and accurate count
- Move materials from warehouse to workstations, pick-up locations, or other locations
- Adhere to quality and customer service standards set forth by the company
Forklift Operator Shift Info
- Day Shift, 06:00 AM-3:30 PM
- Monday - Friday
Forklift Operator Qualifications (Requirements / Skills)
- Knowledge of various material-handling equipment an asset
- Prior forklift experience preferred
- Possess a high regard for safety in the workplace
- Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work independently
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Able to pass a background check
- Able to work in the US
