Job description

BirdieBox is currently seeking a highly passionate, proactive, and driven individual to join our Warehouse Team, in the Receiving area of our production line. Ideally this person would also be Forklift certified.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Prepares the warehouse floor to start production at the beginning of every day.
• Moves product to ensure FIFO is executed.
• Receives and counts all product to ensure what has arrived matches the Purchase Order attached.
• Moving products from storage areas to loading areas for transport.
• Changing gas every 2 weeks on the forklift
• Consolidation pallets for incoming products
• Counts supplies inventory in warehouse
• 8 hours days - Monday to Friday (occasional saturdays)
• Need to be able to cross train in all departments
• Any other task asked from the production floor managers

Qualifications

• Strong sense of work ethic
• Must be a self-starter and be able/willing to go above and beyond their “job description” to get things done
• Ability to think creatively to identify areas of improved processes and offering thoughtful and resourceful solutions
• Experience working in a warehouse with multiple departments
• Experience with Odoo is a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

• Warehouse Pickers & Packers: 1 year (Preferred)
