Forklift Operators Needed!

Responsibilities

• Ability to operate a sit-down propane forklift to move product about the warehouse; Load pallets into and unload pallets from trailers (vans and flatbeds).
• Ability to operate shrink wrap machine; Ability to weigh pallets and properly label pallets
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and take corrective actions.
• Recognizing processing errors and notify the appropriate person.
• Responsible for good housekeeping.
• Ability to read, understand and write English to perform job functions; Ability to communicate clearly at all levels while in the warehouse.
• Ability to follow safety regulations and standard operating procedures; Wear all personal protective equipment.
• Frequently required to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Must wear long sleeved shirt, ankle length pants and closed toe/heeled non-slip shoes.
• Exposure to High and cold temperatures; frequently required to stand.
• All other duties as assigned

Skills

• 2+ years of forklift experience in a warehouse setting (preferably sit-down propane)
• Experience with RF scanner
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent required

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
