Job description
United Container Company has immediate openings for reliable, hard-working candidates for our box recycling team in St Joseph. You must have demonstrated punctual and dependable attendance at your previous employer to be considered for this job.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Load, unload, put-away, stack, pick, stage material using forklift
- Ability to work quickly and accurately
- Verify product labeling and complete paperwork accurately
- Properly record all movements of material inbound and outbound
- Working knowledge of material handling and stock methods
- Perform daily lift truck inspection
Education and Experience
- At least 1 year prior experience operating a forklift
- Inventory control experience
- Warehouse or Distribution Center background preferred
Requirements:
- Ability to read and write and do simple arithmetic
- Willing and able to work overtime
- Be able to lift up to 50lbs, bend, twist, turn, kneel and squat
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Successful completion of pre-employment background checks and drug screens
- Reliable transportation
- A desire to work
