CGS is looking for a Passionate & Experienced Child Focus Recruiter for our Enhanced Foster Care Divisions Wendy Wonderful Kids Program. As a child focus recruiter you will be responsible for the outreach, education, and recruitment efforts regarding a specific, identified caseload of children awaiting adoption and potential adoptive families, as well as older youth who are likely to age out of the foster care system without familial connections. Establish personal relationships with referred children and youth, and assist them in honoring the past, present and future through child/youth readiness activities

Required Skills:

• BA degree in the human services field
• 3 years experience in child welfare, including adoption
• Available to have a flexible work schedule, including evening and weekend hours as needed.
• Available to travel throughout New York City.
• COVID 19 Vaccine Required

Desired Skills:

• Strong public speaking, charismatic engagement and motivational skills.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) language skills a plus.
• Ability to establish and build collaborative partnerships with child's team and community partners
• Competence in planning, organizing, scheduling, case documentation, and strong oral and written communication abilities
• Must possess strong human relations skills to communicate and work effectively within a culturally diverse work environment and community

Pay: $43,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
