SFCC provides a high-quality, geographically, financially and emotionally accessible education to more than 5,000 students who range from traditional college-age students to adult learners.
The college offers associate of arts, associate of fine arts, associate of science and associate of applied science degrees, professional and skills certificates, and noncredit courses and programs, and workforce development training in a 14-county area in central Missouri with locations in Sedalia, Boonville, Clinton, Eldon, Lake of the Ozarks, Warsaw, at Whiteman Air Force Base, and online.

Position Purpose: *The Foundation Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination, marketing and implementation of Foundation events and programs, assist the Foundation Accountant and Foundation Executive Director.

Examples of Duties / Knowledge & Skills

Essential Job Functions:

  • Maintain the Foundation data base management. Maintain a climate of confidentiality.
  • Coordinate and manage meetings, minutes and other correspondences.
  • Assist the Foundation Executive Director.
  • Assist the Foundation Accountant.
  • Communicate effectively with Foundation board members.
  • Attend meeting and participate in committees, as assigned and attend training as required or recommended.
  • Responsible for the implantation of a SFCC Alumni program, scheduling, planning and hosting Alumni activities and events.
  • May be required to work or meet in the evenings and or on weekends.
  • management, and other projects as assigned.
  • Conduct college business in a professional and ethical manner.
  • A willingness to take on additional responsibility and work collaboratively, both within the unit and campus wide.
  • Other duties as deemed necessary for the function of the college.

Minimum qualifications & Requirements

Required Qualifications: Microsoft and data base experience.

Education/Experience: *Associate degree required. 2+ years of experience with fundraising, communication marketing and or event management.

Skills:*

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Effective organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with database management and donor support software.
  • Ability to data processing applications relative to donor acknowledgment procedures.
  • Ability to answer work related questions and or interpret and apply college policies and procedures correctly in various situations.
  • A willingness to take on additional responsibility and work collaboratively.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to interact verbally in person, over the telephone, and via written and electronic media.
  • Ability to move about campus and other locations.
  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push and or pull up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to perform in a standard office setting with frequent interruptions and distractions.
  • Ability to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard.
