Job description
The Finance team is looking for a dynamic experienced FP&A Analyst.
The selected candidate will work with large groups of data from a variety of data sources. This individual should be able to handle multiple projects, prioritize tasks, research data, and provide the team with data forecasted analytic findings. This position requires the ability to work independently, synthesize complex data, and to have expert knowledge in analytics, financial modeling, and data visualization. This position will also require the ability to identify process improvements and a proven history of making positive impacts and change.
Basic Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Managerial Accounting
- Experience: 1-3 years in Finance or Analytics related field
- Analytical:
- Ability to synthesize complex data from multiple sources into one cohesive product
- Ability to understand and communicate the impact of strategic business decisions on company financial statements
- Ability to analyze historical financial results to explain variances caused by internal and external drivers
- Ability to produce relevant and meaningful dashboards or other BI representations of work products
- Ability to leverage available data to produce forecasts and scenarios
- Technical:
- Excel (Pivot Tables, Formulas, Lookups), PowerBI, SAS/SQL
- Communication:
- The ability to work well in a dynamic environment, work independently and balance tasks with a strong sense of urgency through effective prioritization
- The ability to create presentations and deliver them to various levels of the organization, including senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: Additional certificates or certifications in analytics, financial modeling, and data visualization
- Experience: 3-5 years in Finance or Analytics related field
- Analytical:
- Creation of product growth and revenue models, P&Ls, and other forecasts
- Deep expertise in econometrics capabilities (e.g., model-based meta-analysis, quantitative systems modeling,) with ability to understand how insurance-specific results are impacted by external and internal forces
- Technical: Python, Snowflake, Workday Financials/Prism/Adaptive Insights
Annual Salary
$72,000.00 - $138,000.00The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
