Frac Equipment Data Analyst – Houston, TX

LOOKING FOR:
- 2-5 years of experience as an electrical technician, electronics technician, equipment operator and/or maintenance technician within the fracking industry
- If you have no fracking experience but have a degree in any engineering or science related field
SUMMARY: The Frac Equipment Data Analyst will provide insight for various departments including Technology, Operations, Safety, and Maintenance. They will monitor, analyze, and compile action alerts for management using various data sources. Collaborating closely with the maintenance department to track and trend preventative maintenance events and cataloging failures.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Creates good working, cooperative, and communicative relationships with all departments, co-workers, and customers.
- Monitor data sets from various sources, including live streaming cloud data, FracMD diagnostic information, field job and equipment data, CMMS (computerized maintenance management software) data, engineering logs, and spread sheets.
- Diagnose alarms and escalate alerts to various departments
- Tracking and trending equipment health to improve & prolong equipment life
- Work to ensure all the systems are operating correctly and all data sets are being collected
- Use the computerized maintenance management software (CMMS) to further investigate equipment and identify patterns based on historical data
- Compile historical equipment logs and data trends to produce improvement concepts for the Technology & Maintenance Teams
- Completes all duties and projects assigned in a timely manner
- All other duties and responsibilities as assigned
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- In lieu of degree, Associate’s Degree plus 2 years of relevant work experience
- Or, High School Diploma/GED plus 5 years of relevant work experience
- Knowledge of gas and oil field industry preferred
- Knowledge of computers including keyboarding skills, with strong knowledge in Outlook, emailing, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communications skills and ability to deal effectively with a variety of people and situations
- Able to read and comprehend effectively and write sufficiently to be understood by employees, peers and customers in English
- Must have and maintain a driving record acceptable to the Company and USWS auto insurance company
