The Studio at Situation Group crafts award-winning work for the world’s leading entertainment, education and mission-driven brands. The Studio seeks a Freelance Stream Operator with 2+ years of experience to join our team.

What You'll Do

The Freelance Stream Operator will be responsible for the technical execution of internal and external webinars and livestream events, ensuring that all audio and video content is successfully delivered to the appropriate audience platform. Operator will need to be available for all pre-event planning and testing and will be responsible for ensuring backup destinations are provisioned for each event. Operator will work closely with the event producer.

• The Freelance Stream Operator will be engaged on a contract basis per event.
• Equipment - Operator will provide their own workstations (hardware and software) for use on events.
• Internet - Reliable high speed internet will be the responsibility of the Operator (redundancy a plus).
• Technology - Situation Group will provide access to licensed software for the receiving audience platform as needed (Vimeo, Zoom, etc).
• Operator will be expected to participate in the planning process for each event to ensure sufficient access is granted to any systems needed for testing and day of streaming.

Requirements

2+ years experience - Proven proficiency in running successful virtual events using various platforms including but not limited to:

• YouTube Live
• Facebook Live
• Vimeo Live
• Zoom (Meetings & Webinars)
• OBS StreamYard VMIX
