Job Summary
The Associated Students of the University of Utah (ASUU) is seeking a part-time student assistant to help with general reception and clerical duties in the student government office located in the 234 Union Building. Various shifts are available between 8-5 pm Monday through Friday and are to be scheduled for 10-20 hours per week. This position is work-study eligible but is open to all students regardless of work-study status
This position may be eligible for fun perks, including but not limited to Football Tickets, financial support with tuition or books, meal vouchers, and swag. Successful candidates will need to work in collaboration with SLI staff and The Office of Financial Aid to determine eligibility and impacts to student aid before accepting such perks.
This position will report to Katie Howell, Program Coordinator for Student Leadership & Involvement.

Responsibilities
- Assist in day to day operations of ASUU
- Greeting visitors to the ASUU suite
- Answer and return phone calls
- Respond to emails
- Assist with filing paperwork for office staff
- Maintain office area
- Assist in administrative duties as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be a current University of Utah student.
- Successful applicants will have strong communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have familiarity with computer programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
- This position is work-study eligible but is open to all students regardless of work-study status. Preference will be given to those students eligible for work-study.
