Position Summary:

To Welcome guests and sell hotel room. To have a complete understanding of front office procedures and organizational structure of the hotel. To be an exceptional first point of contact for all guests, on the phone or upon arrival at the hotel.

Essential Functions:

The following list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary.

• Follow the Maine Course Hospitality Group Mission Statement and maintain a positive attitude.
• Neat, clean, well groomed appearance.
• Complete knowledge of reservation system.
• Works in an efficient manner. Completes tasks, job duties, special projects and assignments in a timely manner.
• Responsible for processing transactions accurately and balancing cash drawer and completes daily transaction reports.
• Handle all incoming calls in a professional manner.
• Communicate effectively with management, front desk team and other departments.
• Maintain clean and safe work area.
• Works well as a team member.
• Provide information to guests about hotel services, facilities, and other amenities.

Specific Job Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to walk/stand a total of 8 hours during shift
• Must be able to lift 30-40 lbs

Specific Job Knowledge, Skills and Ability

• Communication skills required both written and oral
• General knowledge and experience with computers
• Customer service skills and experience

Schedule Requirements

• Must be flexible to work shifts as required including weekends, nights and holidays
• Must be reliable to work as scheduled with minimal schedule change requests

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.40 per hour

Shift:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Morning shift

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
