Front desk daily procedures

  • Make-sure you politely greet all customers upon arrival and get their information if they are here to see someone of if they are just a walk in also offer a complimentary beverage.
  • Clean front desk, including Coffee machine.
  • Restock on all Beverages & Snacks.
  • Wipe Clean sink and restock bathroom Paper towels & Toilet paper.
  • Throw away Trash & Change bag before and leaving.
  • Make sure you sweep hair as soon as it touches the floor, before you leave and please keep the floors clean at all times is very important.
  • Restock Hot Towels in towel warmer ( this is made in the shampoo bowl, water is to be mixed with a cologne )
  • Make sure shop is always smelling nice & is always tidy while working & before leaving.
  • No friends and family are to loiter at barbershop

It is very important we show hospitality to all patrons, smiling is always very attractive and inviting. The receptionist is the first person our clients will most of the time interact with while on duty. The following is a list of task for the front desk point of sale operations

  • Hair traffic control starts at the front desk, upon arrival of walk-in or walk always great you customer and your first question should be in reference to an appointment or if he is just walking in for a service.

Clients with appointments are to only sit in waiting area. Remember to always offer clients that are getting a service a complentary beverage or snack only one complimentary beverage is to be given per customer and snack.NOW if a client is a walk-in please attend to Rotationand check for which barber is up next, Only is a client were

to personally ask for a specific barber is when you will attend to Squire for that barbers next availability.

Checking out clients it is extremely Important that we collect all data from client Name, Email, and Phone number. Data retention is so important and is how we can stay with touch with all of our clients

The beginning of each work day we will use to call back all clients of prior day to thank them for their support and to make sure we have fulfilled our clients with exceptional service.

Dress Code

At Tru cutz we like to look professional at all times to assure the the environment we are providing compliments our fashion statement expressing your self in a positive image is ideal please were jeans or Slacks (black preferably) fitted shirts please. Closed shoes are to be worn for your safety

Please no leggings or gym attire

CLOSING PROCEDURE

  • Organize & Clean front desk wipe down surface with all purpose cleaner. (coffee maker also)
  • Close register and balance cash ( money in the register must match closing number on squire)
  • Plug in all devices to charger iPad, card reader, & phone goes in the back
  • Depose of any garbage around waiting area and barbershop then Throw out the garbage.
  • Check on snacks drinks and liquor before closing
  • Check list of things we may need to buy for barbershop
  • Closing means your part of the closing team and are at times required to staff past 7PM.

SQUIRE bookings and Front desk client Adapting

All appointments are to be made pre-payed through squire. When clients call over the phone we will redirect them to trucutz.com as tell them to select the barbershop they are calling or request, only if clients are having a hard time booking online will you then offer to book over the phone keep in mind that all bookings must require payment at the end. “Our system only saves appointments after payments are made other than that you can feel free to walk in please thank you.”
