FT Denver Position

A loving family in Denver is looking for a mature and professional nanny to care for their 4 children. If you are looking for a position with ample opportunities for overtime, this is for you! In addition to the guaranteed schedule, the family would love the nanny to care for the children one weekend a month and assist with the dog care during traveling as needed. The Dad travels throughout the week, and the mom is a SAHM who will work with you to split the care so that all bases are covered, and everyone is happy. She is a big communicator and a planner. She wants everyone to be happy, including you!

Structure, manners, health, and safety are top priorities for this family. The nanny must know how to positively motivate the children and be kind, yet firm when needed. Candidate must be organized, as with 4 children, things get busy! Open to a live-in or live-out situation, nannies from all locations are welcome to apply. The ideal candidate is a career nanny with a history of being with families long-term, and upbeat. The family travels multiple times a year to Europe, The Hamptons, and other locations, so you must love to travel and be travel ready!

The Details

Location: Denver, CO

Start Date: As soon as they find the right fit!

Children: 4 children ages ranging from 6-11 years old

Hours: Must cover 2pm-7pm, but willing to add more hours (11/12-7pm) if candidate is willing to help with house management tasks. Ample opportunities for extra hours (weekly date night, watching the children and dog when parents are out of town, etc)

Schedule: The family is open and willing to collaborate on a set schedule that works for everyone

Flexibility: Ability to travel with the family multiple times throughout the year domestically and internationally.

Compensation: Market + DOE. Send income requirements with resume.

Benefits: Guaranteed Hours + PTO (vacation, personal days, holidays) + Overtime after 40 hours + Accrued sick time + Nanny Car

Duration: Long-term, the family would love to hire a nanny to be with them for years to come.

Pets: 1 labradoodle

Driving: Nanny must have a valid driver license, auto insurance, responsible driving record and reliable car to get to/from the family’s home.

Covid-19: The family will only interview vaccinated nannies.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide nurturing and supportive care to the children
• Follow child’s schedule as provided by parents
• Communicate effectively with parents
• Prepare healthy meals and snacks
• Clean up after meals
• Motivate and encourage child to meet milestones
• Discuss children’s development regularly with parents

• Assisting with baby laundry as needed
• Keep play areas tidy

• Taking initiative! Helping out whenever and wherever possible.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Be energetic, outgoing with a self-directed personality and “can do” attitude
• Have at least 5 years of paid nanny experience (outside of babysitting)
• Proficient in infant/toddler development
• Have stellar references
• Have a responsible driving record and be willing to provide a complete driving history report from the DOL
• Infant and Child CPR/First Aid Certified (or willingness to renew before starting the position)
• Willingness to submit to Background check
• Ability to make at least a one-year commitment
• Non-smoking / Drug Free
• Covid-19 vaccinated + booster shot (and willing to get booster shots as recommended by CDC)
• Willingness to get Flu and Tdap vaccines as needed and recommended by CDC

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
