An accredited acute care health organization located in upstate New York is currently searching for an experienced Licensed Cytotechnologist to join their award-winning team!

Under limited supervision, the Cytotechnologist will perform the accession of gynecological and non-gynecological specimens, perform all stages of specimen processing, perform microscopic screenings, interpret gynecological and non-gynecological cytology cases, perform discharge of qualified gynecological cases, and participate in fine needle aspiration procedures. The Cytotechnologist is expected to maintain accurate documentation and maintain the department equipment and inventory levels. This is a full-time day shift position, may require some weekend or evening hours as needed.
Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s level degree from an accredited Cytotechnology program
- Licensed as a Cytotechnologist will the NYSED
- Minimum 2-3 years prior experience screening gynecologic cytology required
