Experienced Gardener Wanted
Atlanta-based garden design firm is seeking a full-time employee to join our team.
Primary job duties will include:

• Garden maintenance including pruning, fertilizing, and weeding.
• Maintaining grounds of clients.
• Transplanting small trees and rocks.
• Tree trimming and hedge trimming.
• Installing and maintaining gardens.
• Planting and maintaining flowers, shrubs, and containers.
• Installing or relocation small trees and rocks.

This position involves constant walking, squatting, standing, pulling, reaching, and bending throughout the workday.

Most of our clients are in the metro-Atlanta area though candidate must be willing to travel out of town, on occasion, for clients in Forsyth, Troup, and Rabun counties.

Candidate must:

• Be able to always interact with clients in a professional manner.
• Have experience in plants, landscape, or garden design.
• Be interested in horticulture and garden design.
• Be interesting in learning how to identify plants and flowers.
• Be able to push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds.
• Speak English.
• Be able to work both independently and on a team.
• Have reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
• Be able to work overtime and some Saturdays during the Spring and Fall busy seasons.
• Be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Pay attention to detail and follow directions.
• Ability to speak Spanish is a plus!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
All employees are required to wear PPE whenever in close proximity to one another. However, due to the nature of the job, most work (about 95%) is working outside in residential gardens and employees are not in close proximity to one another.

Experience:

• PROFESSIONAL gardening and/or landscape maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
