Have you ever worked with paper, and do you like operating Cutting machines in a climate controlled facility? How about earning 80 hours of paid vacation within your first year if you choose full-time? The Cutter is the first step in the process of creating an envelope.

We are seeking a motivated candidate for our Erlanger, Kentucky facility just minutes from Cincinnati OH. A Cutter is responsible for setting up and operating cutting machinery equipped to cut paper into sheets. We have full-time or part-time available.

Full-time employees have the opportunity to earn 80 HOURS of PAID VACATION and $1,000 SIGN-ON in your 1st year of employment. Employees receive COMPREHENSIVE BENEFITS, 401k + COMPANY MATCH, and 9 PAID HOLIDAYS. In addition to working independently on machines on a daily basis, you will have the opportunity to earn 80 hours of paid vacation within your first year of employment and raises every 90 days until top rate of $20.25/hour is reached! Shift premium of .75 is added when working the 2nd shift hours. Starting rate is $16, higher with previous relevant experience.

2nd shift (4:30pm - 3:00am Tue-Fri) is available with a shift premium of $.75/hour. Training will take place on 1st shift (6:00am – 4:30pm Mon-Thurs) and eventual transition to the permanent shift.

WHAT DOES MY WORKDAY LOOK LIKE IN THIS ROLE?

Reads order jacket to determine specifications of order to be cut.
Installs dies, knives and/or blades in a variety of cutting equipment.
Programs and makes adjustments to a variety of cutting equipment.
Sets up and runs all cutting equipment in manufacturing.
Performs minor maintenance tasks on machinery.
Completes paperwork at end of tasks.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Manual dexterity
Strong initiative
Team player
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and/or 25 lbs. regularly during a ten-hour shift.
Ability to stand regularly during a ten-hour shift.
Occasionally required to sit, climb, stoop, kneel or crouch during a ten-hour shift.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals is required.
Ability to read a ruler.

Preferred Qualifications:
Prior Manufacturing experience preferred.
