POSITION SUMMARY
The Lehigh Valley Phantoms, American Hockey League affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers, are seeking qualified individuals to work within the Phantoms’ Game Day Promotional Team, The Phantoms Force Energy Team and Ice Crew, for the 2022-2023 season.
The Phantoms Game Day Promotional Team is responsible for the execution of game night activities both on and off the ice for the Phantoms Game Presentation Department. Under the direction of the Game Presentation Coordinator, the Game Day Promotional Team and Ice Crew play a critical role in the creation of the in-game atmosphere and the enhancement of memories for our fans.

RESPONSIBILITIES – ENERGY TEAM
- Assist the Game Presentation Coordinator in the preparation and execution of pregame, in-game, and postgame promotional activities, including the selection of contestants, distribution of prizes, and breakdown of equipment.
- Bring the ENERGY, EXCITEMENT, and FUN, as you interact with fans as ambassadors to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms and PPL Center.
- Other duties as assigned
RESPONSIBILITIES – ICE CREW
- Support the game presentation department for all on-ice promotional activities, games, and special events.
- Assist PPL Center staff with ice maintenance, including the removal of snow and ice build-up during all media timeouts.
- Other duties as assigned
Energy Team and Ice Crew staff are expected to be available to work most Phantoms regular season and playoff games, as well as other, hockey-related events held at the PPL Center (e.g., NCAA’s)
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Must be 18 years or older
- Knowledge of the game of hockey is preferred, but not required
- Additionally, all Ice Crew applicants must be able to proficiently ice skate. Skates will not be provided.

- Attentiveness to the game and awareness of what is happening both on and off the ice

- Ability to adapt and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to lift/carry up to 35 lb. across long distances
ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS
- Energy Team - Majority of time spent standing and/or walking around venue, occasionally walking on ice.
- Ice Crew - Majority of time spent standing on skates and skating.
