Job description
Serves as a front-line information source about the park’s programs and facility. Collects entrance fees from all guests entering park and distributes relevant flyers and other printed materials.
This position will run from April thru October.

- Welcomes visitors;
- Collects usage and parking fees at the Park’s entrance;
- Accounts for money collected and the tally of visitors;
- Distributes brochures/flyers containing information about the Park and its programs;
- Responds to questions concerning the Park and activities and events at the Park;
- Provides descriptions and explanation of the natural history of the Park;
- Observes Park visitors and reports possible violations of park rules and regulations to Park Rangers.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of park rules, regulations, and fee schedule;
- Skill in greeting and interacting favorably with park visitors;
- Skill in making change and keeping records accurately;
- Skill in directing and controlling traffic;
- Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with City staff, park volunteers, visitors, and the general public.
High school graduate or equivalent, and experience in customer service preferred.
