Job description
Lydall Thermal Acoustical Solutions (TAS) manufactures industrial thermal insulating solutions, and thermal and acoustical barriers for heat abatement and sound dampening applications. Lydall TAS serves a number of markets with the majority of products sold to original equipment manufacturers and tier-one suppliers. The company serves customers via manufacturing operations and sales offices in North America, Europe and Asia. Lydall TAS offers a full line of innovative engineered products to assist in noise and heat abatement within the automotive and industrial markets. The business manufactures acoustical damping and thermal insulating solutions comprised of fiber and metal based composite product constructions. These products are typically found in the interior (dash insulators), underbody (wheel well, fuel tank, exhaust) and under hood (engine compartment) of passenger vehicles, heavy duty trucks, recreational vehicles as well as in other industrial applications. The segment employs approximately ~1400 employees with operations in the U.S., Germany, France and China.

Job Summary:
Responsible for ensuring proper inventory processes are followed and complete to support in a specific department or plant.
Duties and Responsibilities:

- Create production packets for each part number
- Create labels for parts as production gets them completed
- Verify parts, quantity and packaging are correct per control plan/work instructions then label bin/box
- Enter scrap transactions in the system
- Substitute material on jobs if using material other than called on BOM
- Make labels for any partial bins/boxes and sub inventory transfer to partial location
- Print Variance Report and review material variance
- If variance is over +/- $300 turn in to FFM
- Complete no charge production job
- Assist on production line as needed
Other:
- Must adhere to all company and location policies and safety rules
- Must be able to work extended hours when required
- All other duties as assigned
Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities Required for Consideration as a Candidate:

- High school, GED or equivalent experience.
- Must be able to read and understand English.
- Must have knowledge of Oracle job data and labeling transactions in addition to paperwork / traceability requirements to ensure accurate material transactions.
- Must have previous line experience.
- Computer skills.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen & background and reference checks
