Description:Are you a Dentist looking for an opportunity to provide exceptional patient care in one of the most beautiful places in the U.S.?
Appalachian Mountain Community Health Centers ("AMCHC"), a Federally Qualified Health Center network based in Asheville, NC, is hiring a general Dentist to join our exceptional clinical team in delivering quality-focused primary care services for an adult (16+) patient base at our Asheville clinic locations.
AMCHC provides comprehensive, accessible, patient-centered primary care to all, including low-income, medically underserved and uninsured populations, at six locations throughout Western North Carolina.
Our dentists work closely with their fellow physicians, advance practice clinicians, behavioral health clinicians, and clinical and administrative support staff in a team-based approach to patient care.

Salary: From $140,000.00 per year
Supplemental pay types: Bonus pay
Requirements:Required qualifications four our Dentists' include:

• Degree from an accredited Dental School.
• Full licensure to practice dentistry in the State of North Carolina
• Local knowledge of and connections to community health care and social resources desirable
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
• Prefer 2+ years of practice experience with an adult population in a public health setting, preferably in a rural or under-served area, but new grads will be considered.
• X-Waiver and experience treating patients with Substance Use Disorders a plus.
• Strong commitment to practicing in a community health setting as a Dentist.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as critical thinking skills, the ability to handle stressful situations and the capacity to function independently.
• High degree of initiative, judgment, discretion and decision-making to achieve AMCHC's mission.

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• On call
