Currently looking for hard-working, dedicated, loyal, respectful and personable employees that would be the foundation of our ever-expanding firewood business in the Pittsboro-Moncure NC area. Our firewood is being sold all around the world!

This position would be full time (year round) and offers great opportunities for growth and development within the company.

We currently need employees to handle and bundle firewood, along with palletizing the bundles for wholesale distribution; as well as potentially working toward becoming machine operators (such as forks lifts, firewood processors and front end loaders). Initial primary responsibilities will be working a shrink-wrap production line that generates shrink wrap and stretch wrap bundles of firewood. Preference for machine operators (after building time and experience with the company) would be experience operating skid steers, front end loaders, fork lifts, etc.

Job includes doing anything necessary to accomplish the objectives of the firewood business, which may include the following: splitting firewood, handling and bundling firewood, clearing/cleaning work spaces, operating as part of an assembly line for packaging, moving/sorting pallets, operating equipment to move pallets, load trucks, etc. A positive, can-do, safety-minded attitude is an absolute must have! With those things we can cross-train you for various roles and responsibilities.
