POSITION: General Manager
REPORTS TO: Regional VP
LOCATION: Inland Empire, CA 92880

Real Floors is now the largest multi-family wholesale flooring company in the country! We are seeking an experienced and driven GENERAL MANAGER to lead our Corona branch!

JOB OVERVIEW:
The General Manager oversees all staff, budgets and operations of the local branch. Responsibilities include formulating overall strategy, managing people, establishing policies and managing daily operations. To be successful in this role, you should be a thoughtful leader and a confident decision-maker, helping our people develop and be productive, while ensuring our profits are on the rise. Ultimately, the General Manager is there to help the entire team grow and thrive while the branch achieves financial success.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
  • Oversee the day-to-day activities to ensure operational excellence of the Corona branch.
  • Build strong teams to ensure projects, initiatives are performed successfully.
  • Increase employee engagement, support a positive environment and help remove obstacles for the team.
  • Create and perpetuate the family-like culture of Real Floors.
  • Perform all personnel administration for the branch, such as determining staffing levels, hiring, employee performance evaluations, managing interpersonal conflict and terminations.
  • Evaluate the sales team performance.
  • Determine growth strategies.
  • Implement company processes, procedures & policies.
  • Evaluate and improve operations / financial performance.
  • Provide solutions to issues in real time.
  • Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS :
  • Proven management experience, prior management experience preferred.
  • Able to motivate teams, delegate responsibility, respond to feedback and solve problems.
  • Able to clearly explain things, from organizational goals to specific tasks. Able to communicate between executives, managers and team members.
  • Proficient in a variety of communication skills, including: active listening; verbal communication; written communication; speaking and presenting to groups.
  • Capable of having tough conversations & holding people accountable.
  • Experience creating & building upon a positive culture.
  • Proven leadership skills; personable & effective leadership style.
  • Strong analytical ability.
  • Budgeting & planning experience.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including writing, speaking & active listening; able & willing to communicate with the team on a daily basis.
  • Skillful problem solver.
  • Knowledge of business processes & functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations, etc.).
  • Outstanding organizational skills.
