Come join us as we embark on an exciting new franchise in Texas! At Buff City Soap, we hand-make all of our delightfully smelling soaps daily. Our products are free of harsh ingredients, full of plant-based goodies and will leave your skin happy and smelling wonderful. We are looking for a GM to assist in coordinating and overseeing our West Lake Hills, TX store. This role is mainly to support the teams in implementing the right processes and practices for the store. The specific duties include monitoring and improving performance, procuring material and resources and securing compliance. You should be ready to mentor your team members, find ways to increase quality of guest service and implement best practices across all levels. Ultimately, we’ll trust you to help us remain compliant, efficient and profitable during the course of business. Reports to the District Manager or Regional Director.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way
• Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
• Purchase materials, plan inventory and oversee warehouse efficiency
• Help the organization’s processes remain legally compliant
• Formulate strategic and operational objectives
• Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability
• Manage budgets and forecasts
• Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs
• Recruit, train and supervise staff
• Find ways to increase quality of guest service
• Build brand awareness and business through community outreach and participating in marketing activations.

Skills

• Proven work experience as a manager or similar leadership role in the retail or hospitality industry (minimum 5 years leadership)
• Experience budgeting and forecasting
• Familiarity with business and financial principles
• Excellent communication skills
• Supervisory skills
• Organized
• Guest relations
• High school diploma or GED required | College Degree preferred
• Extroverted and great at guest relations, team building, and brand awareness

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
