TITLE: Geospatial Analyst – Mid
LOCATION: Springfield, VA
OVERVIEW
Streamline Defense is seeking an exceptionally-qualified candidate to serve as a Geospatial Analyst at the Mid-level in support of the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA), located in Springfield, VA.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support NGA in shaping their utilization of the GEOINT field to include researching the National Exploitation System (NES) or its follow-on, and other appropriate databases for amplifying information.
- Standardize and document current and emerging GEOINT analysis and production techniques, tactics and procedures to support on-the-job training and continuity of operations.
- Develop and standardize innovative and adaptive full spectrum GEOINT products and services tailored for rapid employment at all echelons based on operational feedback from forward deployed personnel.
- Acquire, analyze, attribute, exploit, extract, format, manipulate, position, and symbolize geospatial information and terrain data to NGA quality and accuracy standards.
- Assist in identifying, compiling and assessing geospatial and imagery data sets to support requirements.
- Collect, analyze, interpret, evaluate and research utilizing open-source tools, techniques, methodology and software.
- Collaborate with the NSG, ASG, IC, and other organizations that enhance collection, research, analysis, and product generation processes.
- Produce NGA GEOINT analysis products.
- Extract specific mission-related feature data in accordance with NGA data and product specifications with respect to non-standard product requirements.
- Assist in developing and implementing a metadata catalog based on NGA standards.
REQUIREMENTS
- Active TS/SCI security clearance.
- 5 years of relevant experience.
- Functional knowledge of ArcGIS Pro.
- Demonstrated experience using ArcGIS 10.x for contributing to and maintaining an instance of ArcServer.
- Demonstrated experience scripting and programming in languages such as Python and Java with the ability to apply these skills to geospatial tools, models, and solutions.
- Ability to apply data science techniques for geospatial analysis.
- Demonstrated knowledge of graphic design principles as they relate to incorporating a map or cartographic visualization into an infographic or tabloid.
