In the GIS analyst role, you will collaborate with other members of the GIS team on the scope and schedule of projects. You will be expected to maintain extensive knowledge in ESRI software solutions and successfully analyze data and present data visualizations. Success in this role will be demonstrated by providing support and expertise in the development of the firm’s GIS capabilities to meet strategic objectives.
- Designs and edits GIS data for numerous projects
- Ensures alignment of data with company standards
- Monitors and applies the best industry practices
- Maintains data integrity and accuracy
- Utilizes ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, or ArcGIS Online in data visualization and analysis
- Manages necessary hardware and software
- Delivers training and technical support to end-users
3-5 years of experience with ArcGIS
- GISP certification preferred
- Solid cartographic skills
- Outstanding project management and facilitation skills
- Detail-oriented and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in GIS Analysis, Environmental Science, Geography, or related field
The pay range for this California position is $35.00- $40.00 per hour; however, base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
