What we are looking for:

Locana is looking for a GIS Data Analyst to support the GIS Data Migration workstream of a large GIS/EAM implementation project. Primary responsibilities will include:

• Performing Spatial ETL processes using Safe Software's FME to migrate utility related data

• Automating geoprocessing workflows using existing software applications or scripting languages such as Python

• Performing data quality and assurance checks

• Working with your team to optimize and create efficient solutions

Top candidates will have:

• 2+ years relevant GIS experience

• Proficiency in FME, Python and/or SQL

• Experience in the use of GIS solutions including functional knowledge of leading-edge Esri ArcGIS technology (ArcGIS Pro, Enterprise, Mobile)

• Self-motivated with a desire to grow technical capabilities based on interests and project needs

• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment that fosters change, creativity, and flexibility

• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills

• Ability to travel up to 25%

Special consideration for candidates who have:

• Experience utilizing FME to perform ETL processes

• Strong industry perspective in the areas of electric and gas transmission and distribution

• Esri Utility Network upgrade/migration experience

• Experience integrating Esri GIS with other Enterprise platforms including Asset Management software and lifecycle solutions

Locana offers a competitive compensation package including salary, bonus, and highly valued benefits programs. The annual salary range for this position is $53,000 to $60,000 in CO and NY.
