The GIS Specialist will provide technical support on projects by performing a variety of Esri based GIS related task assignments, including such things as creating geodatabase models, preparing data collector project files for field collection through Esri ArcGIS field applications. GIS dataset creation, preparation and printing of map deliverables, creation of storymaps, and utilize ArcGIS Online for posting client deliverables. See that project tasks are complete, accurate, and in accordance with GIS standard procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Collect, analyze, and prepare GIS data into informative map product deliverable via hard copy map books sets and ArcGIS Online web maps
- Create Esri Web Apps and Web Maps through ArcGIS Online
- Assist in the preparation of ArcGIS Enterprise project data
- Minor duties to assist with field data collection as needed
- Finalize field data collection information from Esri field applications, to final geodatabase deliverables
- Complete assignments in the specific time periods requested while ensuring accuracy, completeness, quality, and thoroughness of results
- Understand and follow company GIS procedures and standards
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science
- Esri Certifications and/or GISP a plus
- 2-3 years of professional experience working in the field of GIS, Information Technology, or Engineering
- 2-3 years of experience with Esri ArcPro, Esri ArcGIS online apps StoryMaps, ArcGIS Dashboard, Experience Builder, Collector, Survey123, Workforce
