Work Location: Remote
Division/Department: Geographic Information System
Reports to: Manager of Project Management Teams
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Enter data into computer programs.
- Research and document county and city department information.
- Correspond with various jurisdictions via telephone, e-mail, fax regarding questions about truck routing.
- Analyze data such as maps, municipal codes, and ordinances.
- Input research into PSDC programs.
- Keep track of data and source documents.
- Prepare and sort source documents.
- Contact preparers of source documents to resolve questions.
- Compile, sort and verify accuracy of data to be entered.
- Perform web searches.
- Determine what classes of vehicles to which various regulations apply.
- Identify road segments using GIS software.
Requirements
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Must be analytical (likes to collect and research data)
- Good oral communication (listen and get clarification)
- Willing to adapt to change in the work environment
- Follow policies, procedures and instructions from management
- Complete work in a timely manner
- Produce quality work
- Be accurate, thorough, dependable, and organized
- Proficient in Work and Excel
