Global Director, Talent Management Delivery
Job description
The Global Director, Talent Management Delivery is responsible for commercializing talent and development programs, platforms, processes, and solutions that power how The Coca-Cola Company connects, develops, and manages talent. This role will partner with the Talent & Development Center of Expertise (T&D COE) and People Services technology and product teams to translate talent and development strategies into seamless employee experiences. This people leader role must be able to influence the direction of T&D strategies and the People Services function and build a strong, capable organization to deliver the core services in line with agreed benchmarks, service levels and financial targets.
This role reports to the Head of People Services with a dotted reporting line to the Global Head of Talent, Development & System Partnerships. The role will have a seat on both the People Services and Talent & Development COE leadership teams. The team will consist of approximately 8 direct reports.
What You’ll Do for Us:
- Demonstrate strong operational leadership of talent and development strategy commercialization, which includes:
- Leading the development and implementation of programs and initiatives that attract, retain, and develop top talent within the company, including career development, performance management, succession planning, talent segmentation, talent assessment, talent innovation, and organizational effectiveness.
- Communication and change management of all talent and development initiatives that aligns with the Thrive career strategy, the Thrive career brand, and the company's overall vision, mission, and values.
- Nurturing the Thrive strategy and Thrive career story by defining and executing an “always on” internal communications plan.
- Product and project management to ensure timely delivery, including staging delivery at pace with the business, integrating with related strategies, and building effective intake mechanisms.
- Leading and developing a high-performing networked team, including coaching and mentoring team members, providing performance feedback, and managing overall team performance.
- Driving continuous improvement and building business process leadership through innovation and improvement of processes, systems, and tools, optimizing and automating where possible.
- Overseeing the delivery of talent management services and programs, including vendor management, budgeting, and reporting on key metrics.
- Developing and implementing tools and processes to measure the effectiveness of talent management programs and initiatives and using data to continuously improve the company's talent management strategies and delivery.
- Internal interaction: Ensure alignment with and across T&D COE leads and design teams; business HR and Talent leads; People Services leads and teams (specifically learning and technology).
- External interaction: Ensure awareness and delivery of industry leading best practices by engaging with talent and development networks and experts; share with and learn from our Coca-Cola bottler and franchise partners.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive HR experience with Business Partner, Talent, Compensation & Benefits, HRIS and/or other HR functional areas.
- Commercial mindset with a proven track record of delivering against a business plan.
- Digital fluency, with a strong track record of utilizing technologies to translate strategies into employee experiences.
- Demonstrated desire and ability to learn, develop and raise the bar – personally role model high standards for personal development, passionate about development.
- Strong collaboration, influencing and negotiation skills to navigate the highly complex and matrixed organization. Having courage and conviction to identify things that aren’t working and partnering to identify solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize multiple inputs into a simplified end product.
- Strong listening and interpersonal skills are required to balance interests of multiple stakeholders throughout the organization.
- Familiarity with running a global operation that spans multiple time zones and cultures. Ability to manage a globally diverse distributed team with a strong focus on collaboration.
- Track record for managing a significant number of resources and developing and advancing leaders within their organizations
- Demonstrated experience with Scrum and/or agile ways of working is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with user experience and/or user interface design is preferred.
