JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION SUMMARY

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for leading the entire graphic design process, ensuring that graphic designs are aligned with the brand's DNA and meet the approval of the Sr Marketing Manager. This includes managing the creative process from start to finish: defining concepts, designing, sketching, and some development.

The Graphic Designer must possess an extensive skill set and qualifications that work together to manage the design process efficiently. The position supports the mission of the organization by demonstrating excellent designs that are compelling to potential customers while also serving the design needs of our internal team to support existing clients.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES

• Study design briefs and company brand to determine requirements
• Incorporate brand values into content, and direct high-quality creative and brand design
• Develop illustrations, icons and other designs using software
• Leverage knowledge of the latest trends in new media, video, television, design, advertising, and marketing in order to inform creative campaigns
• Develop assets for social media engagement that will lead to higher engagement
• Develop assets for websites and email marketing that will lead to a higher conversion rates
• Test graphics across various media for A/B testing
• Execute through all design phases, including front-end development if necessary
• Utilize GIF/sticker content types and creation techniques - animation, stop motion, video, etc

KEY COMPETENCIES

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite
• Background in Keynote, Google Suite, Powerpoint, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, Premiere, and Animate)
• Proficient in "Drag & Drop" web front end development
• File management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.
• Proven aptitude for quick creative thinking with acute attention to detail within demanding deadlines
• Demonstrate an interest in creating assets that convert, rather than solely focusing on aesthetics
• Creative thought, critical thinking, and analytical skills
• “Progress over perfection” mindset in order to keep up with fast turnarounds and results-driven environment

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• 5 years of relevant industry experience (branded content/new media/creative production)
• Digital or Graphic Design degree preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Position may require travel: Up to 5%

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $47,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
