Grill cook

This Position is in the kitchen of the Residential Dining Hall, working stations such as Pizza/Pasta, Grill among others. Grill Cooks are responsible for prepping, cooking, and refilling entrees on the serving lines of the stations. Grill cooks work closely with student culinary associates and are guest-facing, greeting guests and answering any questions. The residential program utilizes a 4-week rotating menu with the addition of special events and catering to create variety. Menus change each semester with input from the Executive Chef and Leadership team. Additional responsibilities include reading and following recipes, filling out temperature and production records, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. These positions include a set weekly schedule that does not change.

About UWRF Dining

UWRF Dining consists of a Residential Dining Program with one Residential Dining Hall and retail operations that includes a food court, Einstein Bros Bagel, Erbert and Gerbert's, a convenience store, and a burger concept. UWRF Dining also has a catering department and operates concessions at Ramer Field and the Falcon Center. Hours of operation range from 7:30 am to 10 pm for retail locations and 7 am-8 pm Monday through Friday, 10:30 am-6:30 pm Saturday and Sunday for residential dining.
