JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near plant, or work site and operates plastic grinding system by performing the following duties:

1. Organize and sort all scrap parts by material type

2. Hand feed the scrap parts into the grinder to create regrind resin

3. LOTO grinder and clean out all regrind between color and new materials

4. Weigh and label regrind resin maintain log for scrap and regrind tracking

5. Clean filters and work area daily..

6. Follows safety policies including the use of required PPE and housekeeping rules.

7. Support Scrap labeling and identification on the floor

8. Collect scrap boxes from the Mold presses as needed

Must be able to work in a noisy environment (ear plugs are required)

Preferred Skills

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Basic math and reading skills
• Ability to learn quickly
• Able to work well with others with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of hand and power tools and related machines beneficial
• Ability to successful maneuver and operate a forklift truck
