GROCERY TEAM MEMBER (GENERAL STOCK AND FRONT OF STORE HELPER)

FULL TIME AND PART TIME POSITIONS AVAILABLE

D. Coluccio & Sons, Inc. is a 58-year-old family-owned importer, distributor, and retailer of Italian food products. D. Coluccio & Sons seeks a qualified retail associate to assist with the operations of their store.

Responsibilities

• Stock and level shelves

• Arrange neat visual displays (inside and outside)

• Label items with prices

• Carry bulk items to customers’ vehicles

• Retrieve cases from warehouse

• Notify supervisors of inventory shortages and upcoming expiration dates

• Assist customers and answer questions

• Sweep and mop as needed; make deliveries as needed

• Familiarize self with products, store layout, and warehouse storage locations

Requirements

• Availability to work full time or part time
• Legal authorization to work in the United States

• Ability to speak and comprehend English (proficiency in Spanish and/or Italian a plus)

Experience preferred. Competitive candidates will have a retail, warehouse, food service, and/or customer service background.

Physical Demands

• Stand for extended periods of time
• Lift boxes, bags, and other items up to 50 lbs.
• Climb ladders, stairs
• Work indoors and outdoors

Benefits

• Overtime (1.5x) above 40 hours/week

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Retail sales: 1 year (Preferred)
• Food industry: 1 year (Preferred)
• Stocking: 1 year (Preferred)
