Snowmass Mountain Lodging is looking for a Havens Caretaker to join our team in Snowmass Base Village!

The Havens Caretaker is the key contact for all owners and guests of The Havens. They will live onsite and will act as the liaison between the owners, guests and all internal SML departments to ensure that all owner and guests needs are met in a timely and satisfactory manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with SML concierge on owner and guest requests. Keep owners informed about fun, personalized events and opportunities in the Roaring Fork Valley before their arrival.
  • Help arriving owners and guests get luggage from the Havens parking garage
  • In conjunction with Snowmass Mountain Lodging, help with grocery requests to ensure that groceries are stocked for owner / guest arrival
  • Assist owners and guests with using the golf cart and electric luggage carts
  • Facilitate Havens car share and bike share program
  • Potential responsibility to assist with the grooming of the ski back trail that runs through the property
  • Oversee implementation of the Havens Parking Management Plan. Coordinate any overflow parking situation, as well as guest parking in the Havens garage
  • Provide overnight security for the property through 24/7 call response and respond to and address owner / guest emergencies
  • Regular walks of the property to make sure that common areas are clean and clear of defects.
  • Work with SML maintenance team to inventory, order, restock, and maintain all common-area supplies
  • Coordinate any non-regularly scheduled landscaping or common area maintenance needed with SML team.
  • Ensure that SML maintenance team inspects and records a maintenance log for all aspects of the property, including garage equipment and mechanicals (HVAC, central and hot water heaters, etc.), records deficiencies, diagnoses problems, and acts to perform necessary maintenance and repair when possible, or coordinates appropriate vendor repair services
  • Ensure that golf cart and luggage cart are charged and in working order for owner and guest use
  • Coordinate and manage garbage and recycling pick-ups and services with TOSV
  • Work with SML management team to prepare packets for HOA Board Meetings
  • Assist HOA Board of Directors in acquiring contractor bids, as necessary

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Professionalism and attention to detail while ensuring profitability for the company and owners
  • Ability to handle multiple projects
  • Responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service to existing owners and guests
  • Attends all regularly scheduled meetings (property, regional or corporate)
  • Other duties as assigned.

Location: Snowmass Mountain Lodging - Snowmass Village, CO

Start Date: ASAP

Employment Type: Full Time, Year Round

Schedule: Various; on-site

Pay Rate: $65,000 annually plus employee housing on-site

Minimum Requirements

Job Specifications/Qualifications:

High School graduate or equivalent experience required

College degree preferred

Prior experience in hospitality or guest service industry required

Continuing Education Requirements: Attend appropriate division and Corporate directed education programs if needed.

Language: Fluency in English required; knowledge of Spanish a plus

Computer Operations: Computer knowledge including but not limited to proficient skills in Microsoft Office, TracNcare, and IQWare Property Management Systems (TSW/RDP)
