The Role

Our Human Capital Management (HCM) Consulting Practice is looking for a Manager to join our journey as we engineer modern businesses to improve everyday life. We are seeking people who are passionate about transformation, want to make an impact, and love working together to deliver flawless results for an end-client that really work!

We bridge the gap between business and information technology to help clients realize measurable business value from their technology and capital investments. Consulting is led by a senior team with many years of experience leading large, complex, multi-vendor transformation programs. In this role, you will lead a team of Cognizant colleagues and a client team to solve specific problems inhibiting growth and value. You’ll have an opportunity to develop and implement tactical program plans and conduct business, technology, HCM, and managerial analyses that enable clients to transform their business. We guide clients through some of the biggest changes they will face, and we’re looking for people who are ready to lead with a strong platform for integrated HCM and technology. Responsibilities

Support HCM-based business and technology innovation that drives our clients’ organization's management of people, employee experience, and adoption of modern HCM platforms
Develop implementation strategies, formulate project plans, and address specific engagement issues, in collaboration with middle- and senior-level client personnel
Establish business and functional requirements, then translate into actionable project initiatives and metrics
Provide program management to deliver on time, on budget, and on value
Conduct external competitive benchmarking and analysis
Develop business cases, perform ROI calculations, and develop capital budgets
Deliver business process improvement, using our business consulting tools and methodologies
Support transformation programs with organizational change management
Capture best practices and contribute to Cognizant knowledge management initiatives
Lead Senior Consultants, Consultants and Analysts

Qualifications

5+ years of experience with engagements in HCM strategy or process optimization
Experience leading or participating in the lifecycle of a HCM transformation
Functional expertise in relevant analysis tools and HCM software (Workday, Oracle Cloud, SAP, etc)
Client-facing experience and a background in Consulting, ideally in a professional services environment
Program and project management experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proven record of academic and professional success
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to work as part of a cross-cultural team including flexibility to support multiple time zones
Willingness to travel as needed for client engagements
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required; Master’s degree a plus
