Head of HR
Job brief: We are looking for a Head of HR to oversee all personnel-related matters and ensure we use our resources beneficially.
Requirements:
- 5+ experience in a relevant position in an IT company.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of regulations accepted by professional standards, policies, procedures, and legislation
- (including legislation on data protection, the Equality Act, and health and safety).
- Experience performing HR functions at organizations with geographically distributed teams spanning the EU and US.
- Working experience spanning various HR disciplines, including rewards and recognition, employee welfare, L&D, etc.
- Excellent understanding of the regulatory landscape, professional standards, procedures, and legislation within relevant geographies.
- Working knowledge of all HR departmental areas, including reward and recognition, welfare, learning, and development, as well as HR systems and budgets.
- Proven leadership experience in team management.
- The ability to develop and nurture relationships across the teams.
- The confidence to provide sound professional advice.
- The ability to lead the development of effective employee relation policies.
- The ability to analyze and review HR data to identify trends.
- Coaching leaders on people management.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing human resources policies and processes
- Managing HR team (Recruiters, HR Operations)
- Employee handbook - doc for internal use by employees about the company’s Culture, Mission, Values and what the company does, how to manage salary, vacations, etc., (rules of life).
- Playbook implementation (internal operations document, describes strategy and tactics on how to implement the strategy) - all about the company for internal use by Executives.
- Developing internal corporate culture
- Supporting strategic objectives
- Hiring staff and negotiating employment agreements
- Managing and career progression and performance reviews
- Maintaining staff records
- Handling employee benefits
- Managing staff wellness
- Identifying staffing needs and creating job descriptions for C-level
- Designing and directing training programs
- Advise and strategize on the development of effective employment policies across the company
- Ensure that the company complies with current regulations, accepted professional standards, policies and procedures, and legislation
- (including legislation on data protection, the Equality Act, and health and safety).
- Brand building of the Company
- Promote, develop, and nurture relationships across departments and teams.
