With Works, facilities can create their own on-demand nursing workforce and manage all the details from a single system. Using predictive insights and recommendations, Works helps hospitals react to fluctuations in demand, while its staffing marketplace creates competition to fill open job requisitions with high-quality, active talent.
Trusted has support from top institutional investors such as Craft Ventures, Felicis Ventures, StepStone Group, and Founder Collective, as well as healthcare innovators like Texas Medical Center, Mercy Health, Intermountain Ventures, Town Hall Ventures, and Healthbox. Most recently we closed a $149 million Series C round to fund our next stage of growth.
What we're looking for
The Head of Product, Marketplace Platform will serve as the product leader for our payments & back office teams. We’re looking for a hands-on leader that will drive value through high-velocity iterations of our back-office platform which serves as the core of our marketplace operations. This highly-complex platform navigates the complexities of third-party system integrations and the multi-state payroll & billing process to ensure sustainable and accurate financial workflows that impact both our internal operations and our user experience. Resolving this challenge is at the center of our ability to maintain our trajectory of growth and create a world-class customer experience. The ideal candidate will have a General Management mindset and take pride in driving key business outcomes while ensuring we can provide a world-class experience for our users. You will report directly to the CEO & Co-Founder.
Your responsibilities
- Develop a strong understanding of our customer journey, pain points, and associated financial workflows. Given the scope and accountability of the role, you will have the opportunity and responsibility to guard and improve the financial health of the Marketplace and the end-to-end experience for our users.
- Set an overarching platform strategy across the entire marketplace operations, offering you the potential to impact Trusted on a large scale.
- Lead, hire, and coach a team of Product Managers, including the existing PayBill, integrations, & financial systems teams.
- Partner closely with Product, Finance, Legal, and marketplace leaders to build systems that meet the needs of the business in the most efficient manner.
- Identify customer problems and collaborate to build innovative solutions that use the best combination of products and programs.
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders and the team to create collaboration models and operations to guide high-velocity execution and deliver high-quality insights, working with a distributed engineering team across North & South America.
Who you are
- Strong executor with a track record of driving meaningful impact against key business outcomes and building end-to-end experiences.
- Hands-on leader, comfortable working at all levels of the organization. Ability to describe the problem and vision, combined with the capacity to dive into minute details.
- Strong stakeholder management & communication skills with experience collaborating with top-line company leaders and cross-functional partners.
- Understanding of modern, iterative product discovery and development processes. Has experience leading loosely-coupled, highly-aligned product teams in a high-velocity environment.
- Deep understanding of payments systems & integrations, knows how to solve complex financial workflows in a compliant, scalable manner.
- Startup experience; can work effectively in a dynamic environment & respond effectively to complexity and change and work with limited resources.
- People management experience; experience coaching & hiring product managers. Familiarity with OKRs & similar goal-setting frameworks.
- Bonus: Recruiting or labor marketplace experience.
