The Orange County Health Department has an opening for a Health Human Services Manager position. The position is responsible for overseeing the administration, programs, and strategic direction of the Family Success Alliance (FSA) Program housed in the Orange County Health Department. This position is comparable to the Executive Director of a non-profit agency with respect to the day–to-day oversight of the program. The goal of the FSA is to coordinate over 25 multidisciplinary partners and resources to link program participants to services to mitigate the effects of generational poverty in Orange County.

This position must be able to play the multiple roles required of the job. It is likely that this individual will execute large-scale initiatives, gain and maintain the trust and credibility of the community served and partners working with FSA while also being strategic and collaborative to manage effectively.

Work is performed under the general supervision of the Community Services Director with some leeway to exercise independent judgment within the framework of applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures, in the performance of duties, both in terms of planning and accomplishing work and in making decisions regarding patient/family needs and requests. Supervision may be a responsibility of this class depending on the assignment. Does related work as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's degree in education, public policy, or human services (public health, social work, social and behavioral sciences), with coursework in human services planning and evaluation AND one (1) year of experience in human service program planning, administration or evaluation, marketing and grant management; OR

a Bachelor's degree AND three (3) years of administrative or consultative experience in a human service program with program planning, administration, and evaluation, marketing, and grant management; OR

An equivalent combination of education and experience as defined above.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Possession of or ability to readily obtain a driver’s license valid in the State of North Carolina for the type of vehicle or equipment operated is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $66,149.00 - $87,269.00 per year
