Hearing Testing Company seeking to hire a full-time, customer service oriented Hearing Testing Technician to perform hearing tests in our mobile office at several locations within the Puget Sound (WA).

We offer company paid technical training on our audio equipment and testing software and CAOHC certification.

No hearing testing experience necessary!

Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding customer service
• Test noise levels
• Operate 8 station computerized hearing testing system
• Present worker training to employees at the plant (both video and verbal presentation)
• Greet and instruct employees prior to testing
• Perform visual ear inspections
• Perform earplug sizing and demonstration
• Verify/enter personnel data into computer
• Prepare reports for client
• Keep office area and booth clean
• Complete 2.5 day CAOHC Course (company funded)
• Attend remedial training as required
• Adhere to strict privacy standards to ensure employee privacy

Requirements:

• Satisfactory completion of Background and Reference Check

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1+ years of customer service experience
• Basic typing skills
• Basic computer skills
• Strong listening/comprehension skills
• Ability to stay composed and objective
• Team oriented
• Personal conflict resolution skills
• Group presentation skills
• Ability to adapt to different needs and techniques
• Ability to effectively communicate with others

Work Environment:

• Climate controlled mobile trailer office stationed on client property

Work Hours:

• Mobile office open 14 hours per day, for 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift
• Will work 8 hour shifts within client required times
• Must be flexible regarding scheduled work hours
• Must be available to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
• Must be available for 1st or 2nd shift as customer schedule requires
• Must be willing to commute to all client locations within Puget Sound (Everett to Frederickson) - company reimburses fuel (subject to company policies)

Job Type: Full-time

• Pay: $41,600 per year salary + $2.00 per hour shift differential (subject to company policies)

Perks of the job:

• $2.00 per hour shift differential between the hours of 9pm and 5:30am (subject to company policies)
• $0.40 per mile fuel reimbursement for travel to various job sites (subject to company policies)
• 8+ weeks paid time off per year (subject to company policies/client schedule)
• WA paid sick leave

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
