Job description

Tyler Equipment Corporation, a leading Western MA VOLVO Heavy Equipment dealer, is looking for an experienced, reliable heavy equipment mechanic to work in our East Longmeadow, MA. location. This is a full-time, Monday through Friday Union position (IUOE Local 98).

Main Duties:

· Technician/Heavy Equipment mechanics diagnose, repair, inspect and maintain equipment

· Assists other mechanics in solving machine and component problems

· Provide courteous and professional service

· Determines parts requirements and outside materials requirements to complete the job

· Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with Tyler and OSHA standards

Requirements:

· 3 plus years’ experience working with heavy equipment

· Experience as a road mechanic a plus

· Must have own tools

· Clean driving record

· Dependable, self-motivated professional

· Ability to provide references of prior employers

· Must join a local union
