Responsibilities
- Cranes ( over 20 Tons lifting capacity)
- End Loader ( five yards and over)
- Scrapers, Dozers, Graders
- Backhoe (crawler mounted)
- Power Plant Gantry Crane
- Vac Trucks and Water Trucks
- Haul Trucks and Dump Trucks as assigned.
Requirements
- A high school diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- One to three years of heavy equipment operation.
This position requires a post-offer, pre-placement physical capacity screening, conducted by a licensed physical therapist, to assure the candidate meets the physical demands of the job. The screening will assess only the identified physical demands of the job being applied for
He may also be assigned to perform other work for which he is qualified when not operating equipment or the equipment listed under Equipment Operator and Equipment Operator Light per section 16.5.16 in the UWUA Local 127 Contract. This position may entail shift work and weekend coverage.
