Relationships—Supervised by the onsite manager. Work closely and maintain communication with other team members
Job Description—To maintain the health of the herd, able to identify and respond to health concerns of heifers based on farm protocols
Schedule—6:30a-4:00p Monday-Saturday, Sunday off
Duties
- Able to breed heifers based on company protocol
- Able to recognize and diagnose health concerns of heifers
- Able to treat health concerns based on protocols determined by manager
- Knowledge of illnesses and antibiotics
- Able to safely vaccinate heifers based on farm protocol
- Ability to move heifers in a calm, orderly fashion
- Able to weigh and track weights of heifers
- Communicate health issues in a timely fashion

Compensation
- Starting pay is $16+
- Uniforms provided upon completion of 3 months
- Housing is provided if available
