High Voltage Electrician
To be considered for this position you must have High Voltage Electrical experience or knowledge and be interested in working in an industrial/ warehouse environment.

The opportunity
- The primary function of this job is to safely install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, ensuring that all work is in accordance with relevant codes. To be reasonably available at all times for any problems that may occur which involve anything electrical
The role
*
- Maintain all processing units throughout the plant
- Maintain and/or repair electrical equipment; repair and/or replace wiring
- Maintain fire systems
- Troubleshoot electrical problems
- Maintain air compressors
- Maintain HVAC systems
- Electrical construction and installation
- Using ladders, scaffolds, ladders, and roof tasks in a safe and efficient manner
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and proper hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring equipment, apparatus, and fixtures using proper hand tools and power tools
- Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, and/or other components
- Put all ladders back in assigned locations.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, components to identify hazards and defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with relevant codes
- Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, etc., to ensure compatibility and safety of system
