We have 11 clinics located throughout the River Region, 2 mobile clinics, and 4 school-based clinics in partnership with Montgomery Public SchoolsHSI is looking for HIM Clerk to join our team. The HIM Clerk performs clerical duties necessary to maintain an effective nurses station, including preparation of the initial medical record and scheduling of patient appointments.
This position typically works a standard schedule of 7:30am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday, however, schedule adjustments may be necessary based on need.
Job Duties:
- Prep Patient Health Information for Medical Release.
- File information in the appropriate position within the patient's chart in EHR.
- Faxes and mails report to other agencies as needed.
- Cover switchboard as needed.
- Requires a High School Diploma.
- Prefer six (6) months previous experience in a medical office.
