JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for focusing and analyzing specific departmental operations, performance data and operational process enhancements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include the following. Others may be assigned.
- Clarifies report needs with requestors to understand the purpose and content of requested reports, works with Analytics team to request data and then performs deep dive assessments on detail data to report relevant information back to operations.
- Learns new technologies and systems to advance knowledge of reporting and analysis available through those systems when needed.
- Builds relationships with - Market and Senior Ops Directors to ensure communication is clear and complete.
- Assist VP and HIM leaders with tracking of overall HIM budget monthly and review for accuracy in billing and allocations, review HIM invoices
- Works independently and with little supervision; prioritizes and manages multiple tasks to meet deadlines; and seeks guidance from manager as needed to clarify assignments or requests, ask questions, or seek additional information.
- Works with process team to identify/manage process changes.

- Strong interpersonal communication skills, effectively presenting information to various levels of individuals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Basic understanding of HCPCS/CPT codes, revenue codes
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word)
- Basic ability to utilize other MS Office applications (Access, Power Point)
- Ability to obtain and analyze data from various computer systems
- Ability to read, review, and interpret a variety of state and federal regulations
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Results oriented
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor’s degree preferred; related experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- One or more years of healthcare-related experience
