Job Summary: The primary functions of this position are coaching and supervising the HIM staff to ensure high quality and compliant HIM production. This leader will leverage business intelligence and data analytics to drive technology advancement, increase efficiencies, benchmark quality standards and operational cost containment. This position will provide collaborative support to staff, leadership and providers.
Education/Experience: High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Associate Degree required with coding certification CCS or CCS-P; RHIT or RHIA required. 5-8 years prior field related experience or other job-related experience.
