The Role

The role of Hiring Machine Data Analyst will serve as a critical resource on GFT’s scaled technical hiring program team. From day one, this role will work to track the progress, health and execution of GFT’s scaled technical hiring program.

Day-to-day the Hiring Machine – Data Analyst will collaborate with the Head of Hiring Machine, and the rest of the Hiring Machine international program team to ensure that data tracking and reporting are accurate and consistent. Specific focus area include, but will not be limited to, tracking and reporting on overall program health, monitoring candidate flow relative to demand, tracking prioritized resource demand, and ensuring that our interview pool data is crisp and transparent.

Responsibilities

  • Work with multiple internal and 3rd party systems to track and normalize data relating to program health, progress and risks
  • Collaborate with the Head of GFT’s Hiring Machine and program team to generate consistent and accurate reports using Microsoft Office tools. Specific reports include, but are not limited to:
    • Candidate Pipeline Health
    • Hiring Demand
    • Interview Pool
  • Assist Hiring Machine Program coordinators in addressing data discrepancies, pulling down data from multiple sources as needed
  • Escalate risks present in the data, relative to Hiring Machine program health to senior management

Skills and Experience

Required

  • 5+ years as a Data Analyst, preferably within banking or similar regulated industry
  • Proficiency in excel, including pivot table generation, complex formula generation, macro creation
  • Fastidious attention to detail, with a focus on quality and consistency
  • Ability to visually present data and analytics in a way that conveys key information and findings clearly and concisely to management
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven track record of juggling multiple priorities
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or related discipline

Desired

  • Previous exposure to software delivery methodologies and frameworks, including Agile, Scrum and Waterfall
  • Familiarity with standard Agile delivery team skillsets and roles including Scrum Master, Product Owner, Software Engineer, Test Engineer, and User Experience (UX)
  • Familiarity with standard enterprise Hiring Processes
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience generating dashboards from Excel in Tableau
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and with minimal direction across time zones

The Team

GFT (Global Functions Technology) is responsible for end-to-end design, application development and infrastructure support for the Global Functions (e.g. Finance, Risk, Compliance, Human Resources, etc.) across Citi’s lines of business and regions.
